  Elder Confesses 50% is Rubbish

  yes an elder actually confessed to me that 50% he said from the platform was rubbish.

  that was in 2006. now in 2019 i have recently been thrown out of the watchtower organisation.

  Hi Vidiot - yes they are just messing with semantics constantly. So that speach just becomes a babble of nonsense.

  At one point when I took on the 5 elders, the Chairman of the "judicial" which I did not attend, literally babbled nonsense for about a minute. He was incapable of stringing two words together and it sounded like "wu uh b wh d bu whu." He went on like that cause i said something like, "so if Jesus stuck to the words of the prophet Daniel (like me), would you say he was apostate?"

  His response was, "wu uh b wh d bu whu uu eeh eh bu wuh." (etc) Until eventually he said, "well no that'd be silly."

  Tadua on Beroean Picketts just pointed out to me that the article is referring to God's universal organisation not his earthly organisation. So they have a get out.

  But peaceful pete spotted that deliverance can come to us individually if we study the Bible, believe it and live according to it.

  So we don't need the WT.

  And, yup Fink's got it right. WT are apostates, false prophets and may I add, anti-Christs.

  i saw this sign (i'm sure the bride must have bought it) at a wedding rehearsal dinner yesterday.. yes, the smiling bride was there ordering her soon to be groom around as they were setting up their party decorations.

  i'm sure today october 5th will would be the happiest day of their young lives.. have you ever noticed that many movies end at the wedding ceremony?

  because for the vast majority of marriages that is the best it ever gets!

  yup that's right the jws religion is a pretentious fraud orchestrated by men running their own religious publishing house.. these men cultivated a semblance of power around themselves through their own propagation of being chosen by god or being more righteous than other christian leaders by their self supporting acclaim that they have truer and more accurate bible interpretations.

  another known fact is these top leading men were not academically trained bible scholars.

  the first leading executive writer of the wts was a professional clothing salesman/ businessman.

  1884 John Henry Patterson bought out his fellow investors in the National Manufacturing Company and formed the National Cash Register Company, the predecessor of NCR Corporation. Located in Dayton, Ohio, this company made cash registers.

  5/5/1889 Joseph Rutherford was under tutelage of Judge E L Edwards. By now he was official court reporter and on this date licensed to practice law in Missouri.

  In this same year he accepts books from Bible Students.

  1895 Court of Appeals of Missouri – a civil lawsuit - case, F.P.COOK v. PETER HECHT - Joseph Rutherford sought civil damages for "property damage", against Peter Hecht. He lost the case.

  1896 Joseph Rutherford came within 100 votes of becoming the Democratic candidate for state legislature representing Cooper County, Missouri.

  William Jennings Bryan first stood as Presidential candidate. Joseph Rutherford accompanied him because he believed that zealous Presbyterian was "appointed by God to straighten out the problems of the world."

  Joseph Rutherford represented the National Cash Register Company against David Nicholson of Boonville.

  1906 Joseph Rutherford was baptised by Macmillan and Watchtower HQ moved from Allegheny to Brooklyn.

  I knew some of the teachings were wrong. I remember as we sand songs about he harvest time, I thought, 'this is wrong.' Then they changed the teaching about the sheep and the goats and I'd never even been taught it. I thought, 'who on earth ever believed we were in the time when the sheep and goats were being judged?'

  But what i didn't realise was that many of the elders were actors and that somethings were said to deliberately confuse and baffle and would never get changed.

  Beware what you are working on, or you might end up on the Governing Body.

  Some people don't change unless things affect them personally.

  On the other hand if you are an advertiser and can make people feel the lack of something, you can get them to want things they don't need. How many of us felt we ought to put in a report with the number of hours we had done on the ministry, when scripturally there was no need?

  And how may decided it would be better to knock on doors of people who weren't interested rather than help the sick, the poor, the lonely and the widow etc?

  The Watchtower organisation has set itself up as an educational authority which lords it over others. It dispenses priviledges, and hold graduations. Where in the Bible does Jesus hold a graduation ceremony? Watchtower hierachy decides who will become the new elite, it decides who should be looked up to. And as Sigmund Freud's nephew pointed out, as he established what we call PR, you don't need to bother about the little people. You only need to control the minds of the leaders because all the others will follow. And one of the main tools in the tool box is glamour.

  I was baptised in 1992, so I was a newbie to some of those older teachings. I was talking to one today who was brought up in this man-trap for Christians cult and he told me how he spoke to an elder and said, 'we are bringing people in through the front door then they go straight out the back door. It's all wrong. Why are people leaving?' The elder had no answer for him.

  Sounds like elder's wife (in your comment) was trying to warn you but she was not allowed to be open with you. I remember the very clever comment of a District Overseer's wife. Regarding the organisation she said, 'respect it for what it is but don't take it too seriously.'
